Our all-night vigil in preparation for the feast of La Divina Pastora, the Divine Sheperdess, took place on Friday, 21st April, at our church.
We started with the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction at 7 p.m. then we went straight to Vigil prayers for the next nine hours, taking us to approximately 4:30 the next morning.
The theme for this year’s Devotions which started in November of 2022 was “The Magnificat, The Healing Canticle of Mary.” Thus the focus of the reflections for each of the nine hours was The Magnificat.
Different groups or ministries within our church conducted the prayers and reflections for each of the nine hours.
